Landing late at Pearson?
Here is what happens to your car.
A delayed flight is the moment a pre-booked car earns its keep. Here is exactly how AirGate handles the ways an arrival can go sideways — and what, if anything, it costs you.
Your flight is tracked from the moment you book
Give us your flight number and we follow it: departure, en route, landing. Your driver is dispatched to the actual landing time, not the scheduled one. A two-hour delay moves the pickup two hours; it does not change the fare.
Sixty minutes of waiting, from wheels down
Once you land, up to 60 minutes of waiting is included — counted from the actual landing, not from the scheduled time. Customs, immigration queues and a slow carousel are inside that hour on the great majority of flights. If it runs longer, waiting is $1 a minute, paid to your driver with the fare, and nobody leaves without you.
Early arrivals
Tail winds happen. Because the driver is dispatched to the tracked flight, an early landing is handled the same way as a late one: they are there when you come out, or within minutes of it.
Missed connections and rebooked flights
If you are rebooked onto a different flight, message or call us with the new flight number as soon as you have it. We re-plan the pickup around the new arrival; the fare for your city stays the same.
Cancelling or changing the trip
Cancel free of charge up to two hours before your pickup, in the app, and your driver is told straight away. Changes to the date or time are free with the same notice. For a departure to the airport, tell us the flight and we plan the pickup time for you, with a margin for the drive at that hour.
Why this matters more on long runs
On a run like Barrie ($165 Sedan, about 1 hour 15 minutes) or Waterloo ($175, about 1 hour 15 minutes), a metered ride that waits an hour and then hits traffic can end up anywhere. A fixed fare plus included waiting means the number you were quoted is the number you pay.

My flight is delayed three hours. Will my driver still come?
Yes. We track the flight and dispatch your driver to the actual landing time. The fare does not change.
Is waiting included?
Up to 60 minutes from your actual landing is included. After that, waiting is $1 a minute, paid with the fare.
What if I miss my connection?
Send us the new flight number and we re-plan the pickup around it. Your city fare stays the same.
How late can I cancel?
Free of charge up to two hours before your pickup, in the app.
